Buyers Choice Program- Buyers Can Now Choose HUD Closing Agent in Orange County when buying a HUD Home! This new program  is being rolled out in Orange County on Feb 15.

HUD will be implementing a “Buyers Choice ” closing agent trial program for properties located in the counties of Orange, San Diego, Imperial and Riverside, California. With the Buyers Choice Program, all buyers whose contracts are executed on or after February 15, 2013 will be able to choose their own HUD Closing Agent/ escrow company. Please note escrow fees for the Buyers Choice program will now be a buyer expense. However, if the buyer chooses to utilize the HUD Closing Agent chosen by HUD (Cimarron Escrow), the escrow fee will be paid by HUD automatically.

The new program will improve closing times on the sale of HUD Homes and offer buyers more flexibility than before.
